Call of Duty Mobile: 8 Tips to become better

If you say a game is a sport, it means it has rules and requires skills. Even though Call of Duty Mobile doesn’t have regulations or require physical activity, sometimes we need to engage in tough competition with others to see who’s better at playing this FPS game.

In this article, I want to share some tips about how to be good at shooting games and being a better team player.

1- Never rush into action

In general, rushing into the battle without thinking because you have low HP isn’t a good idea.

Understandably, you want to take the enemies out before they can react, but if you’re going to do it just with a low health bar, then your teammates will see you as a careless player.

For you to be the teammate that all other players want, you need to make sure your HP is high enough before rushing into battle.

Also, try to avoid open areas when you’re in a firefight with the enemy.

Instead, go into an area where it’s harder for the enemy to kill you, or you can use it as a tactical advantage once they enter that area.

2- Use your perks wisely

One of the must-haves in the game is grenades. Just one grenade can turn the tide of battle, but you must throw it at the right place and time.

For example, you want to get into a Control Point defended by enemies or kill someone through an object. It’s not smart to throw the grenade on where they are because it will alert them and make them ready for your attack.

It would be best if you knew where they weren’t guarding so you could land near them without any notice.

Each of these three grenades has different strengths, making it more useful when facing various challenges in each match mode.

Grenades are extremely powerful but using them at the right time is extremely important. You don’t want to use it early or late because both of these cases mean you’ll be leaving your advantage for someone else to take and use against you.

3- Let your teammates know about everything happening around them

When I’m playing in a team, I like to know what’s happening outside my zone and share that information with my teammates to make better decisions when it comes to attacking enemies or defending objectives.

It requires good communication between players, but nothing beats working together as a tight-knit squad when everyone is on the same page.

Of course, the team might not always be by your side, but you can still communicate through voice chat to ensure they don’t miss out on any important info.

4- Don’t try to be MVP of the game (carrying is too hard)

If you’re playing in a random squad with strangers just playing for fun, then it’s okay if someone wants to carry everyone else.

But if you’re playing in a premade or competitive squad where players have built good teamwork, then carrying is extremely difficult, and you’ll end up losing the match.

As long as teammates play their roles well together, nothing beats winning games with strong teamwork. Here are some of the call of duty hacks you can use to perfect your aim, win more gunfights and get better at the game.

5- Never stay still during battle (unless you want to die)

The most important thing is movement; if you stay still for too long, an enemy will see you and shoot you with ease.

Even when you’re out of combat zones, don’t just stay in one place because the enemy has many ways to kill your character, and it’s just a matter of time before they notice that player.

Instead, try to look around the map and find less likely spots for the enemy team to check so you can use them as safe areas. It makes it harder for enemies to find and kill players who never show up on their radar.

6- Watch VoD (Video on Demand) movies from pro players or streams

If you want to learn the game and become a better player, you can watch various VoDs from YouTube, Twitch, or websites offering them for free.

Watching pro players play is a good way to get familiarized with different maps and tactics other parties use against their opponents. Even if you don’t have a mic of your own yet to communicate with your team, it’s still possible for you to understand what roles each character plays in matches.

As your skill level increases, you’ll eventually start to notice the different types of player play styles, and then you can incorporate that into your own game.

7- Take cover when your health is low

When you’re in battle, it’s normal for players to get hit by bullets and lose health.

However, this game is unpredictable, so it isn’t always easy to find good cover protecting you from incoming fire.

You’ll need to keep looking around and plan your next move because sometimes enemies will use grenades or even rush towards their targets (if they notice someone low on health).

This usually happens when one of the squad members gets killed or retires, thus making everything more chaotic. You never want to be without any cover; try to focus on keeping yourself alive at all times if possible.

8- It’s okay to hide (but don’t stand still too long)

Hiding is crucial for new players because it can be difficult to take on experienced opponents with better weapons and equipment.

But if you’re hiding too long, that finally becomes your downfall because the enemy squad eventually tries to look for you (before they get overwhelmed by other squad members).

They know where most new players might hide, so they try to search for stragglers before they get attacked.

Don’t be an easy target; make sure you find proper cover or an opportunity to escape (back through a building or something similar) when you need it.

9- Equip higher level weapons if possible

If your character is close enough with their abilities, it’s usually good to equip higher-level weapons because they have better stats.

It’s not always easy because you might need to wait until the next round or even longer, so you might get stuck with lower-tier equipment for a while.

You don’t always need high-end guns to do well; low levels can still pull off kills against players who are much higher than them.

This game isn’t like other shooters where it matters how long you’ve played the game (and what kind of experience that player has); newer players can still compete with veterans if their skill is enough.

10- Train yourself in PvP private matches

Even before you jump into competitive multiplayer, this game also has private matches where experienced players can train against new players.

You can practice and learn about all of the characters (and how to counter them) before taking your skills online for everyone else to see.

Sometimes you might even find competitive tournaments in these private matches, so it never hurts to look around for those.

Make sure you practice your aim as much as possible and try to figure out tactical ways to kill other players who are at higher levels than you. It’s a great way to learn early on, and that experience will help when jumping into multiplayer matches later on. So there you have it!

Hopefully, these tips will be helpful for new players who want to improve their skills but aren’t sure how they can do it on Call of Duty Mobile.

If I forgot any good tips, please leave them down below so we can discuss them together!
